Canadian born, I grew up repressing my femininity due to social norms that rejected my looks. The girls judged me for not wearing makeup, not wearing cute clothes or not being fit enough. I leaned toward a male centric punk style and attitude. It was not until I joined the kink community that I found women who empower other women. And so it began.
